Savegame Import & Map Rendering
We’re planning to add the ability to upload Satisfactory savegame files and automatically display their data on the Interactive Map. This could include: Built structures and factories Used resource nodes Collected objects Other relevant savegame data The goal is to automatically recreate your existing world on the map without having to manually add everything, as some other calculators already support this. We’re planning to expand the existing Interactive Map with the ability to display your factories directly on the map , including their actual positions in the game world. The plan is to make this by plotting just the position of the factory down manually or optional through a mod that can be installed in your game or on your game server . The mod would automatically transmit your factory data to FicsitFlow, allowing you to see the factories and other relevant information from your save directly on the Interactive Map. This would make it possible to have a live overview of your entire world and easily see where your factories are located without having to manually mark everything on the map.

Power production can already be planned using the normal Factory Calculator, but we’re planning to add a dedicated tool for power planning. The goal is to let you specify how much energy you want to generate and then plan which production method and materials to use, for example, which type of fuel to use for Fuel-Powered Generators and how much you would need of which type. This should make it much easier to plan your power production.

We’re planning to add a new way to plan factories step by step manually . Unlike the automatic factory planner, this feature would let you build your factory plan yourself. You would be able to add machines, production lines, splitters, conveyors, and other elements step by step and decide exactly how everything should be connected and arranged. A save could contain both automatically planned and manually planned factories , and you would be able to switch between the two planning methods at any time. The idea is similar to tools like https://satisfactoryplanner.net/ or https://store.steampowered.com/app/3187030/Satisfactory_Modeler/ on Steam, where you have full control over how you design your factory rather than having everything generated automatically.

A new feature is planned for the Satisfactory Calculator: Floor Planner . The goal is to provide a visual representation of how you can actually build your factory. Instead of only showing the required machines and production lines, the Floor Planner would help you plan where to place buildings, machines, conveyors, and other factory elements on the floor. This should make it much easier to plan the size of your factory in advance. The feature is currently planned and will be developed in the future.
